Interviews and Banff memories

A beautiful Sunday… Actually, it’s Tuesday. Interview yesterday went really well until availability and visa talk came around. Visa specifically. They want me, but they want me to be available full time for a year or more. That’s OK, ’cause I got another callback this morning from an agency. Means someone will be doing some looking for me.

It’s surprising how quickly things change – with the interviewer asking me about my options for staying long term, I’m suddenly faced with looking at those options.
Just ran into a guy who recognized me from Banff. He’s Australian, working in Brisbane saving to travel again. Talked for a bit – maybe catch up with him later.
