First day of real work yesterday, actually on the street talking with people. No sign-ups, but good stopping rates. It’s fun to be out there, getting paid to meet people. Met some other of the people who are frontliners as well, cool people, energetic and enthusiastic.
Was up late last night, Ryan had had a few people over in the evening and I was chatting with them until late. ALso went over to Charles’ place last night to pick up my stuff but ended up staying for dinner. GOod to have my stuff back. Climbing gear and clothes and camera equipment and all that type of goodness.
Things to do in the next couple days are to get my mind ready for the work that I’m doing, gearing towards better communication of passion and commitment. Things I need work in for my life, day to day.
Talking with some of the other frontliners it’s amazing to see the difference in what people consider to be a challenge. I don’t see approaching people on the street to be a challenge at all – it’s fun, easy, good times.
