Working and trying to get in touch with people outside this little universe is difficult. Especially since the afternoons flow very quickly into evenings, and there is almost always a party of some description going one – people over visiting, the likes. Amazing people, Eli and Geoff.
I’m getting close to two months on the road, but it doesn’t really feel like it. But it does, at the same time. It’s also both close and far away from Christmas, which is on my mind a bit these days, getting out to Armidale, meeting everyone there, getting stuff sent back to Canada (Canadia) on time, and more. Especially with it feeling like summer – it feels like 10 months since I left Johnson’s Landing, not the 16 that it has been. Almost a year and a half. That’s a long time!
In the next couple of days, I’ll be up in Hervey Bay, and I don’t doubt that the girls will be there too – while we’re booked to do the same tours, we’ll probably be going up different routes, as I have the remnants of a Sydney-Cairns bus pas to use, they don’t.
